In December 2024, Sam Outdoor Living partnered with a homeowner in Sunshine North 3020 to revamp their outdoor spaces into a stylish and functional retreat. The client’s vision was a cohesive design that combined modern aesthetics, durability, and versatility to accommodate multiple uses. Their priorities included using weather-resistant materials to ensure longevity and creating visually appealing spaces that harmonized with their home’s style.

The project involved three key areas: installing an insulated patio roof, constructing a composite decking area, and adding a balcony sunroof. Each space needed to meet the client’s practical needs while elevating the property’s overall appeal.

Solution

Sam Outdoor Living delivered a comprehensive and tailored solution that addressed the client’s goals through the following:

1. Insulated Patio Roof:

   • Installed a 3x2.5m insulated patio roof in the contemporary Monument color to provide all-season comfort.

   • Integrated two energy-efficient downlights, creating a functional and stylish outdoor area for relaxation or evening gatherings.

   • Used 150x150mm aluminum posts for robust support and a sleek, modern aesthetic that complements the property.

2. Composite Decking:

   • Designed and built a 3x3.5m composite decking area with durable timber framing and finished it with a rich timber color for a warm, natural appearance.

   • This addition created a versatile space perfect for hosting family and friends, blending practicality with timeless design.

3. Balcony Sunroof:

   • Constructed a 2x5.6m sunroof using lightweight white aluminum framing covered with EZ Glaze. This combination offers protection from the elements while allowing natural light to filter through.

   • The sunroof’s sleek design enhances the balcony’s usability and elevates its aesthetic appeal, making it an inviting space for year-round enjoyment.
